Blacklabel Beard Company and 4 different moods!

I got some beard oil samples from Blacklabel Beard Company the other day, the different scents were Aphrodisiac, Whiskey, Piña Colada and Leather. I don’t have to tell you that I loved leather even before I got it, it’s really great. These oil really sparked my interest, specially Leather and Aphrodisiac. Leather because, well, it’s leather, I love the smell of leather in the morning, day and evening. And Aphrodisiac because…. well, you know what an aphrodisiac is don’t you?! The whiskey and piña colada was also interesting, but also as a bonus.
First of all, I’ve been using all 4 oils for a few days, once in the morning, one time during the day and one time in the evening, and I must say, my beard is feeling great, it’s shiny, thick and full. It’s not oily or sticky, it’s dry, fluffy and really soft. Just the oil itself is an amazing oil, it really does what it needs to do and I feel great using it. It’s easy to wash off my hands and it’s absorbed into the beard perfectly.

Whiskey – I’m gonna start with Blacklabel Beard Company’s Whiskey scent, and that’s because this oil surprised me the most, in several ways. First of all… I’m sad to say that I don’t drink whiskey, I don’t like whiskey. It’s something I wish I could enjoy, but I cant. That’s also one reason I wanted to try the Whiskey beard oil, to see if it was as real whiskey. When I first applied it I thought to myself, Ok this oil isn’t for me. It did smell like whiskey. But after awhile the strong whiskey scent got to me, and it changed character, it turned into something nutty, almost chocolaty scent.

I enjoy it! I feel that those first 10 minutes of application might be a little bit strong for me, but after awhile, when the oil transforms, it’s very nice. So if you love whiskey, I think this oil is perfect for you, or if you’re out on a limb and want to try something new, like me, you’re gonna enjoy just as much, just give it a few minutes to set.
Leather – I love leather.. ’nuff said… Ok then, I’m gonna say a little bit more. You know that time in the fall, when the cold weather is coming and you need to get your winter clothes out from storage, and you find that leather jacket…. that jacket you almost forgot from last year. You grab it, you start to feel that leather scent spreading, you put the jacket on, you feel cool, you feel great, you feel bad ass… all because leather jackets are great, and the leathery smell of course. That’s the feeling I get from this leather scent. So if you know that you love the smell of leather jackets and want to play it safe. Get this leather scent, it’s freaking amazing and I promise you’ll love it! Great job on this oil!

Piña Colada – This is freaky, really freaky. Not only does it smell exactly as a Piña Colada tastes, it almost gives you a little buzz, a buzz of pleasure that is. The fruity coconutty and creamy scent fills me with joy. It reminds me of those summer nights out on the town. Yes, I drink fruity drinks, I’m not ashamed to admit it… I do drink beer as well, but these drinks are so damn good! If you are like me and like fruity scents, this is the oil for you, you’ll love it! Tho a word of advice, use it in moderation as the scent is pretty strong and lingers on for hours. It’s a blessing and a curse (if you take too much) This is a oil you need to try to really understand it’s potential and greatness!

Aphrodisiac – Aah, yes! The most interesting one of them all. Did you read the Wikipedia page I linked earlier? No? Ok then, a aphrodisiac is a substance that, when consumed, increases sexual desire. Now you know, let’s move on! First of all, DO NOT DRINK this oil. It’s for beard and external use only. This is awesome, damn. The scent of vanilla and cinnamon is almost too much to handle.
I love it. I think it’s working… It reminds me of candy I used to get at marked when I was younger, some kind of butter fudge I think. Blacklabel Beard Company made this oil too tasty, I do want to taste it, because that smell is intoxicating. I actually splashed some in my beard before talking to my girlfriend and the first thing she said was “Ooh, you got a new perfume? It smells great”. She was intrigued when she heard it was a beard oil. Get this oil, seriously… do it!

Final thought:
Fantastic oils, really fantastic. I would endorse these any day of the week. They have a HUGE selection of scents on their website and I wish I could try them all. Aphrodisiac and Leather are 2 safe bets that you really need. Piña Colada is for those fancy nights out and a really refreshing fruity oil. Whiskey, well, I want to read a book, smoke my pipe and apply some whiskey beard oil to my beard in a fancy library. Honestly, if you haven’t checked out Blacklabel Beard Company before, do it!
